Yilun Zhang is an illustrator from China, currently based in New York and pursuing an MFA in Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her work often explores visual transformation, hidden forms, and unexpected connections between everyday objects. She is interested in creating images that invite viewers to look again and discover something they may not notice at first.

Her recent recognitions include the 2026 Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition (Winning Illustrator), American Illustration 45 (Selected Winner), Society of Illustrators 68 (Jury Selection), Creative Quarterly 82 (two Winners and one Runner-Up), and Geografie Illustrate — Authorial Posters for Garda Trentino (2nd Prize).
