Photographer Spotlight: Chiara Zonca

A lovely series by London-based photographer Chiara Zonca. Shot in the untouched landscapes of the Chilean and Bolivian altiplano, Zonca captures a striking topography, almost unnerving in its serenity and limited signs of life. As she shared with us:

“By taking time to live and breathe in these vast, eerily silent and untouched landscapes, I document the shift in my perception of time and place… I came across subtle signs of human interference with nature and decided to include them in the collection, to disrupt the natural flow of these landscapes with a stark reminder of our presence in the world as we find it, and what happens to it once we leave.”

Each week our members publish work on our Submissions platform and we highlight the best of these submissions as Editors’ Picks. Learn more about becoming a member.
