A selection of delightfully chaotic paintings by Brooklyn-based artist Jon Duff. Incorporating a variety of influences including science fiction and evolutionary psychology, Duff’s work pokes fun at the human experience through a disorderliness that is at both humorous and apocalyptic:
“I am drawing absurd comparisons between our biological drives and contemporary culture. I am communicating a humorous cynicism of our anthropocentric perspective. I am using the abilities I have as a crazy ape in a disordered world to act out and make discoveries.”
