“Chromatic Inward Peering” by Artist Priscilla Yu

A series of paintings and sculptures by artist Priscilla Yu (previously featured here). For the past 14 years Yu has developed an art process based on the interplay between stylistic constraints and her own personal symbology. Inspired by patterns found in everyday urban life, as well as those found more universally in nature, Yu’s latest work uses abstracted points of perspective to create a phenomenological exploration of her own psyche.  “Chromatic Inward Peering” was part of the CHROMAGLASSA exhibition with Amanda Smart at Space Gallery in Vancouver.
