“Konvergenz” by Artist Maarten Rots

A lovely series by Dutch artist Maarten Rots (previously featured here). Working in the medium of photography, “Konvergenz” explores the area around sommergalerieZöbing (Zöbing am Kamp, Austria), where he stayed as an artist in residence in 2019.

“With my photography I want to reveal abstract qualities that can be found in everyday life, often with architecture as a prominent ingredient and a strong focus on composition, texture and color. The resulting photographs often lean towards graphic imagery and are commonly confused for paintings or drawings upon first look.”

Each week our members share their projects with us and we highlight our favs as Editors’ Picks. If you want to share your own work with us, you can learn more about becoming a member.
