Niall McClelland (There’s like 100,000 L’s in there!). Toronto.
Toronto-based art collective Exploding Motor Car has just released my favourite video of the year! The video is for Ohbijou’s song, New Years. The concept is brilliant, and the video is just beautiful.
Watch the video below!
Cut&Paste hits Toronto on Saturday (Mar 28th) and I have two pairs of tickets to give away! The event starts at 6:30pm at Sound Academy (11 Polson Street). For those that don’t know, Cut&Paste is a live digital design tournament that tours around from city to city.
The first two people to leave a comment on this post asking for the tickets will get them. Only request the tickets if you live in the Toronto area and plan to go!
Another Canadian, eh! Illustrator Michael Wandelmaier (Toronto).
A Tribe Called Quest re-worked by KeysnKrates! Enjoy some rehearsal footage of the guys getting ready for their upcoming show this Friday at Wrongbar in Toronto! Don’t miss ‘em!
(For the record, there were 2 views on this video when I posted it!)
Some music for your weekend! Keys N Krates, if you don’t already know you better get familiar! Picture The Roots, but Black Thought has been replaced by an ITF world champion DJ. Here they are absolutely killing Toronto earlier this year.
Jr Flo (the krates) and Matisse (the keys) are rockin parties the way they were meant to be rocked! Remixes with live drums, bass, and keys! It doesn’t get any better than this. They blew several thousand minds at the Livestock BBQ here in Vancouver in September.
